heavyweight fighter Fedor Emelianenko will face undefeated Brett Rogers in Strikeforce for the interim heavyweight title. The event will be on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT at Sears Centre, Hoffman Estates, Ill. and can be watch on CBS and Showtime - Strikefoce's broadcast partner.
Fedor, the former longtime PRIDE champion now enters Strikeforce with a 26-fight win streak with 20 stoppage. He signed a three-fight deal with Strikeforce in August and had been slated to fight Josh Barnett at "Affliction: Trilogy,". But the August 1 event was scrapped due to Barnett's failure of getting a license to fight because of drugs. Meanwhile, Rogers enters the fight with a clean 10-0 record all comes by a way of stoppages, including a 22-second knockout win over former UFC champ Arlovski at a June Strikeforce event in St. Louis.
Official fighter weigh-ins for Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers is on Friday, Nov. 6 at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
